GhumGham Comments Guidelines
Last updated: August 7, 2026
GhumGham comments help travelers share useful notes about Nepal experiences. These guidelines explain what is allowed, what is not allowed, how users can report comments that may break the rules, and how moderation may remove comments after review.
Who can comment
Users need to create or sign in to a GhumGham account before adding comments or liking experiences. Comments may show the author's display name and profile image if provided.
Expected comment behavior
Comments should be respectful, relevant to the travel experience, and helpful to other users. Good comments may include trip tips, timing notes, local context, accessibility notes, safety reminders, food or culture suggestions, and corrections made in good faith.
Not allowed
Do not post comments that include:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, or abusive language.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or attacks based on identity, nationality, caste, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics.
- Sexual, exploitative, violent, graphic, or otherwise harmful content.
- Spam, scams, deceptive promotions, repeated unrelated links, or attempts to manipulate likes or comments.
- Private or sensitive personal information about another person.
- Illegal content, instructions for illegal activity, or content that encourages harm.
- Impersonation, misleading claims, or comments that falsely appear to come from another person or organization.
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights or copies material without permission.
Moderation and removal
GhumGham may hide, delete, or restrict comments that break these guidelines, violate applicable law, create safety risks, or harm the quality of the app experience. Comment authors can delete their own comments in the app where supported. GhumGham admins may review reported comments, dismiss reports that do not require action, or remove harmful or policy-breaking comments after moderation.
How to report a comment
If you see a comment that may break these guidelines, sign in and use the comment menu to report it with the closest reason: spam, harassment, hate or abuse, private information, unsafe or illegal content, or other. Reported comments may be reviewed by GhumGham admins and may be deleted after moderation if they break these guidelines.
If in-app reporting is unavailable or you need to report an urgent issue, email ghumgham.app.nepal@gmail.com with the experience name, the comment author's display name if visible, a short description of the issue, and a screenshot if available. If the email link does not open, copy and email this address: ghumgham.app.nepal@gmail.com
Account action
Accounts that repeatedly or seriously break these guidelines may lose access to commenting or other account-linked features. Severe abuse, safety threats, or illegal content may result in faster action.
